is our standard 8" flywheel. This is the traditional 2pc design
that has been available for years, using
a standard VW flywheel and welding a Subaru crank mount. Uses standard VW input shaft
support bearing. |

| Our
standard flywheel utilizes the conventional way of adapting to a VW based
transaxle. This is done by welding the Subaru bolt pattern onto a
standard VW flywheel. This picture shows you the weld bead. This is
the most popular flywheel we sell because it costs
$40 less than the monolithic flywheel style. An 8 inch flywheel can handle motors up to
400HP
